Any Two Cards 2 - Revenge of The Poker Gods

Well, the Poker Gods were obviously upset at my last post, and seem to be proving that 5% chances can actually happen 30% of the time. So depressing when you re-raise the table maniac with a much stronger hand, leaving him/her only 3 outs to win, and the very first card on the table is the one you need to avoid.
My KJ v 77 on a flop of KJx and he still calls bets to see his 7 on the river. Or Mr 'I've got 6 3 sooted, and I'm calling any size raise, even an all-in' and hitting his flush. I know these things happen, but seeing so many these last few weeks.

I don't really want to go down this route as I know where I'll end up, but I need a realease for my frustration and I don't have a dog. so instead I'll tell you about a little 'claim to fame' - my only one on the poker tables.

I took out a model.

Before you jest, it's not a car, or a new cooker - but a real page three one with attractive looks, big boobs and long legs. She's even got 11 GCE's and 3 A Levels, apparantly. Not just a pretty face. And I took her out. (If you so desire, you can read more about here HERE)

Unfortunately, it wasn't to a local pub or restaurant, but on the green felt. She called my raise holding only K7 and when she hit her K on the flop she tought she was ahead. The two 10's on the board didn't frighten her off calling my large bets. Nor the flush draw.
Bless her little cotton socks, she kept calling till she had no chips left and I turned over my A10 to take her out.

Then 'Mr 6 3' ruined my night on the bubble, calling my all in.

One bright light in an otherwise miserable evening. Again. Ah well, at least I still have my health.

Cough.

Loved the 'taking the model out' bit!! If mr 6 3 was very aggressive and had a big stack, you may have been best just to avoid the idiot and pick your spots alittle more carefully.... and going out on the bubble, OUCH, hate that crap.

Anyway GL and just keep searching for the Page 3 models as they are much easier to play against!!!!
(even with 3 A-Levels!)

In all fairness, Mark, I think given the size of your stack to the size of the blinds, it was a pretty automatic call for him. Shame he couldn't double you up.

As for the obvious cracks about it being as close as you'll ever get to taking a model anywhere.. well, I won't go there!

Have a good week

Did you see her on Weakest Link? I'd call her retarded but that would be unkind to anyone with such an affliction! She must have lied on her CV!

Oh, and every time you mention the words Poker God's (amen), get used to typing (amen) after them as I've found it seems to anger them if not and several Doomswitches are pressed at once!
